Herb Kohl Student Excellence Scholarship - Applicants must be graduating high school students who intend to enroll in a postsecondary institution, which may be a public or nonpublic university, college, or vocational/technical college. Students who are residents of the State of Wisconsin are in good standing, and who demonstrate probable success in postsecondary education are eligible to apply. This is a competitive scholarship. The Foundation of Wisconsin Automobile & Truck Dealers Association: Available to high school seniors and current technical college students in their first year of the two-year program. Municipal Electric Utilities of Wisconsin (MEUW)-MEUW provides its “Powering Futures” Scholarship to support students pursuing careers in electrical power distribution. Applications for this year’s awards will be accepted until January 2024. To be eligible, students must reside in a Wisconsin public power community and must be pursuing post-secondary education to become a Field Service Technician, Groundman, Lineman Apprentice, Electric Meter Technician, Substation Electrician Apprentice or Utility Technician. USDA/1890 National Scholars Program -open to high school seniors or rising college sophomores and juniors. Must have been accepted to or currently enrolled to study agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, and related academic disciplines. The scholarship is renewable each year. Wisconsin Professional Police Assoc. - Any Wisconsin resident enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school in a course of study leading to a two- or four-year degree in police science, criminal justice, or a law enforcement-related field – which does not include law school – is eligible. Beaver Dam Elks - US Constitution Contest - Open to College-bound High School Seniors. Contest held February 5th - 11:00 am at the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce Office (127 S. Alliant Energy Innovation Scholarship - Applicants for the annual scholarships are asked to write an essay that identifies a problem in their community and present their own innovative solution using science, technology, engineering and/or math. Applicants must be 24 or under and enrolled for their first full-time program at an undergraduate school. They also must be a dependent of a current Alliant Energy customer or a customer themselves. Wisconsin Cattlemen's Association - available to any high school senior enrolled or planning to enroll in any university, technical college, community college in the United States, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Farm and Industry Short Course Program. American Legion - Department of Wisconsin - Schneider-Emanuel Scholarship - Must meet eligibility requirements as described in directions and application. Deadline is March 1st.
American Legion Americanism and Government Scholarship Program - Dept. of Wisconsin - Any student in grades 10, 11 or 12 are eligible to test their knowledge of US, Wisconsin and County Governments. The test consists of 50 questions. The test is available on-line during March 4 through March 15, 224. Students register on-line when taking the test at https://agtesting.departmentapps.org The link is only active during the test window. Scholarships available range from $250 to $750.
Fond du Lac Area Retired Educators' Association (FAREA) - Any High School Senior/or graduate from high school residing in Fond du Lac County or attending a school in Fond du Lac County can apply. SAGES Alumni Scholarship - SAGES Foundation announces a scholarship for SAGES Alumni students who are continuing their education. This scholarship is available to graduating Seniors in the Waupun Area School District who are SAGES alum. Elzy & LaValice Cooper Memorial Scholarship Award -The family has chosen two educational paths in which the couple found keen interest. The fund will provide the first award to a candidate pursuing a college degree in a field that would fall under "STEM" (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) fields of study.
