Academic and Career Planning

Academic and Career Planning, or ACP, is a student driven, adult-supported process in which students create and cultivate their own unique and information-based visions for post secondary success, obtained through self exploration, career exploration, and the development of career management and planning skills.

ACADEMIC & CAREER PLANNING

ACP AT WAUPUN JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL

In grades 7-12, students focus on their Academic and Career Plan, through a time called “WAT” (Warrior Academy Time). Students meet once a month with their WAT advisor to complete post secondary focused lessons. Frequently, students will access a program called Career Cruising. This website acts as a student’s portfolio, and an exploration tool. Students use the same portfolio from 6th grade until the time they graduate. Students complete tasks like; interest surveys, course planners, skills inventories, etc. It is our intention that through WAT and ACP, that each student will leave Waupun Jr./Sr. High School with a focus for their future.
