Students in first grade enjoy a literature rich environment. Students are engaged in the Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy program as they learn to read and write. This is a research based structure that promotes inquiry through engaging books. Meadow View’s ethos is high expectations for all students in all academic areas.

Students learn math concepts through the My Math curriculum. They also enjoy science and social studies through hands on and real life activities. Students are continually working on being good citizens through play, role modeling, and experience. Students also enjoy special classes such as physical education, music, art, guidance, library, and technology.
