REGISTRATION:  Students should enroll in their current 2018-19 grade level. Registration forms are due by THURSDAY, April 18.

Classes are filled on a first-come, first served basis and are not guaranteed. If a class fills up or is canceled due to insufficient enrollment we will try to schedule your child into an alternative class of their choosing. If you do not list an alternative class we may schedule your child into a class of our choosing. We will not be calling parents to choose another class so be sure to include alternative choices.


FEES 

A materials fee will be charged to all students for those classes that indicate such in the course description.  

NEW THIS YEAR: DO NOT SEND FEE PAYMENT WITH THE REGISTRATION FORM. Fees will be collected after schedules are sent home and will be due by June 18.

A tuition fee is assessed to students who do not reside within district boundaries and/or do not attend our schools under the open enrollment option. Fees should be turned in after you have received a copy of your child’s summer school schedule (do not turn fees in with the registration form).

Class fees will be waived if you qualified for free or reduced meals during the 18-19 school year AND†turned in a signed copy of the “Sharing Information Form”.


REFUNDS

The District will refund material fees per parent request if registration is canceled prior to the start date of the summer school class. Refunds will not be issued if the registration is canceled or the refund request is submitted on or after the start date of the summer school session.


ATTENDANCE

Parents should notify the school office if their child will not be attending school that day. A note should be provided for early departures or planned absences. RRI ~ 324-9322 Jr/Sr HS ~ 324-5591


TRANSPORTATION

Transportation will be available during sessions 1 & 2 at the start of Block A and the end of Block B. Transportation will not be available for the Camps, 0 block, or C Block at the Jr./Sr. High, or for any courses scheduled outside of the dates/times listed above. Transportation forms must be completed (back of the packet) in order for students to ride the summer school bus.


BEHAVIOR

Students are expected to follow all school rules that are in place during the regular school year. Students that do not follow the rules may be sent home for the day. If behavior incidents continue students will not be allowed to return to Summer School.
