WAUPUN — There was much excitement recently when the Waupun Unified School District received a $100,000 grant to enhance school security.
There was no doubt where those funds would go – toward a new surveillance camera system for the junior/senior high school, which will cost a total of $220,000. Interest on $36 million in borrowed referendum funds will cover the balance.
