On June 27th Brelynn Bille and Mrs. Frens traveled to San Antonio, TX for the 2019 FBLA Institute for Leaders and National Leadership Conference.

The first two days were spent learning more about ourselves and how to effectively lead a team to success, participants in IFL got to hear from Scott Cornelius, Eddie Slowikowski(Past US Olympian Runner), Erica Prosser(Past WNBA Player) and Ryan Underwood. Brelynn and the rest of our state officer team learned many useful tips to help them in their positions as they lead our Wisconsin FBLA this year.

June 29th saw our kickoff to the 2019 National Leadership Conference, Brelynn as State President represented Wisconsin in our Parade of States. Later that evening we had our Wisconsin state meeting where we updated the Wisconsin chapters in the happenings of the coming 2019-2020 year. Brelynn and Vice President Brooke led Wisconsin students in the Milk Cheer, a crowd favorite!

June 30th was the first full day of competitions for those who qualified for the national competition as well as the campaigns for those running for national office. That evening we had our regional meeting with the states that make up the North Central Region(Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri). Here Brelynn gave a state update on behalf of Wisconsin. Those that received awards were recognized at this event.

July 1st and 2nd saw the wrap up of the competitions, campaigns and workshop opportunities. We had a little more free time these days and got to explore beautiful the San Antonio Riverwalk and were able to walk past the historic Alamo. The closing ceremony on July 2nd saw many Wisconsin students recognized for placing in the top 10 in their competitive events and wrapped up our time in San Antonio.

Brelynn and the state officer team were challenged to dig deep and had many ideas spark to help them plan their Fall Leadership Labs that we will attend in November!  #WarriorPride
