BS Elementary Education from UW Eau Claire.

Masters degree in Library and Information Science from UW Milwaukee

Passion:

I have always loved the outdoors because I lived with parents who gardened, and spent most every weekend as a child on my grandparent's farm doing chores and enjoying the animals.  My love for cooking and baking comes straight from my mother.  We've spent many hours in the kitchen together creating and tasting!  I have always known I would be a teacher because of my true love for children as well.

Years in Education:

Interestingly enough I started teaching 20 years ago in a sixth grade classroom.  I also taught science classes to students in grades four and five.  Then for several years I was an at-home mom with my daughters until five years ago when I started out as a Library Media Specialist in the Waupun elementary schools.  I am currently teaching sixth grade, and I am looking forward to teaching at SAGES.

Musical director for community theater children's production

Sunday school teacher
